The battles are fast paced, you need to react fast, something is always happening and you dont feel like you are farming like in almost every other jrpg. There were 6 bossfights in 3 hours. Some of these fights are kinda hard and require player to use every available game mechanic at his disposal. Its interesting to follow plot. dialogues have a good humor in them. Music is cool. But theres one thing that leaves in disappointment. The main reason why this thing is bad is because its never mentioned on a store page. This game is episodic. Yeah, you are paying for the full game, but you will be able to play past 1 episode only somewhere in future. There are only around 3 hours of gameplay right now.. As a Touhou fan mostly uninterested in bullet hell games, I'm somewhat of an oddball. Good thing fan games like this one exist to offer different types of genres of gameplay! This is a pretty fun RPG that keeps things very fast paced because of the active turn based system. I frequently found myself almost button mashing in anticipation of my upcoming turn knowing I'd only have a second or two to select the ideal action before the enemy gets a turn and strikes first. You need to constantly pay attention and react quickly, but also plan your strategy in advance otherwise you won't be able to act fast. This certainly keeps the Touhou style of danger and difficulty, just of a different variety. So far, only the first chapter is out, and there are a few bugs such as one of the achievements not working, but overall this is a very fun game that is worth the small price. On top of that, the promise of further chapters and updates is a nice incentive to purchase. I'll be keeping a watch out for updates as future content rolls out, hopefully.. This is a small RPGMaker game based, I think, in the Touhou universe. As my first contact with anything related to that... I'm not sure how faithful it is... Anyway, the plot seems interesting, the characters... well, they seem nice... and the gameplay... is RPGMaker...Looks decent enough.. Hoping to get Chinese version. There're a lot of touhou fans in Chinese who are willing to pay for games like this.Touhou m1 manzai 12th is a good example, though it isn't a game. But it confirms we are willing to pay for touhou. But our English level is a barrier that impedes us to understand the content of this game.If production group update the Chinese version ,this game will be sold better.. The Gameplay is nice and story but sometimes little confusing when contronting with the enemy. After 1 hour of playing I can't even beat the first boss10\/10 This is more difficult than actual touhou. It's a fun game with a clever fast-paced combat system, a useful item-crafting system, and what seems to be the beginnings of a good story (judging by the contents of Part 1) but it doesn't really live up to its potential.Equipment is very scarce, and almost all of the healing items that you will use in the game will be user-crafted. Monsters only respawn a set number of times in the Forest of Magic until after you've beaten the penultimate boss of Part 1, after which point they respawn on entry, so the boss fights can be a little bit tough, and grinding opportunities are few until the very end. The biggest flaw, in my opinion, is that there are spelling and grammar mistakes in almost every line of the game's dialogue. You can tell the staff tried to write a captivating story for the game, but reading it in broken English really detracts from the experience. Also, please be aware that Part 1 is very short - I beat it in a mere 3 hours, and that was with plenty of grinding to make the boss fights easier. If there are several more parts coming in the future, this isn't something to worry about.I would recommend this game on a "for fans only" basis. If you like Touhou Project and want to experience the characters in RPG format, give this game a try, but If you're new to Touhou Project, this isn't a good way to be introduced to the universe.. This is Absolute Trash. I only bought this yesterday, and I am already fed up with it. The first level is extremely difficult to get through, and each time you fail you are forced to watch the same annoying game over cutscene over and over. I'd honestly work harder to get past it, but If the rest of the game is anything like the first level, I'd really rather not put up with it. The graphics and details look nice and all, but this game really bites. Maybe someday I will buy it again when there is a sale, but for now I'd rather have the 5 dollars.
